questions

I'm borrowing this one from [livejournal.com profile] r_vecchio because it seems interesting. Oh, and you don't have to beg or anything. Just asking is fine.

INSTRUCTIONS
01. Beg me to ask you questions.
02. If I can be bothered, I'll respond with five questions.
03. If you can be bothered, you will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
04. Include this explanation and an offer to interrogate someone else in the post.
05. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

Here are the questions Ray asked me along with the answers:

01. Do you think it's weird we've never introduced ourselves?

Not really. We sort of hit if off and started talking, didn't we? But my mother would be disappointed in me if I didn't say it was nice to meet you.

02. Why did you move to the States?

I had some things I had to get away from.

03. Can I have a ride on your carousel?

Don't see why not. There's fun to be had, right?

Er, unless that's a come on.

04. Does "Shy" come from the adjective or is it short for something?

Adjective. I stopped talking for a few years when I was a kid. The name stuck.

05. Armani or Gucci? And why?

I can't really say. They're designers, right? What's the difference between them?

My warning to you, kamoku is that Mr. Ray is a notorious flirt. He also has a thing for agricultural animals. Especially horses.

Interview me!

[identity profile] shyboy86.livejournal.com 2007-09-25 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
A thing for horses? Do I want to know? I can't say much about the flirting, though, since I've been guilty of it myself. But thank you for the warning!

1. Can you take other forms besides human?
2. Do you find it hard to do your job at times?
3. What's the one place in the world you love more than any other?
4. Do you like music? If so, what's your favourite?
5. Have you ever been in love?

[identity profile] newblue-blood.livejournal.com 2007-09-24 03:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Why not? Interview me please!

[identity profile] shyboy86.livejournal.com 2007-09-24 04:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, let's see...

1. Besides modeling, what kind of job would you love to have?
2. The Simpsons or South Park?
3. What's the one book you can read over and over again?
4. How long have you known your best friend?
5. Do you have a boyfriend?

[identity profile] col-depp.livejournal.com 2007-09-24 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
Sure, why not.

Fire away.

[identity profile] shyboy86.livejournal.com 2007-09-24 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)
All right, here we go:

1. Who's your hero?
2. When did you have your first kiss?
3. How many times have you seen "The Sound of Music"?
4. What's the best book you've ever read?
5. What's your favorite drink?

[identity profile] col-depp.livejournal.com 2007-09-24 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
1. Who's your hero?
People who do what they have to do, and not take any shit for it.

2. When did you have your first kiss?
*chuckles shyly* Umm. I believe it was when I was around 10. I was trying to seduce the girl that sat beside me in 5th grade.

3. How many times have you seen the Sound of Music?
Three times. One really high, once really drunk, and once when I had the stomach flu and was doped up on compazine.

4. What's the best book you've ever read?
*scratches head in thought* That's a hard one. Well my current favorite is 'Perfume' by Peter Suskind.

5. What's your favorite drink?
A glass of 1995 vintage merlot.

[identity profile] shyboy86.livejournal.com 2007-09-25 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
1. I like that answer.
2. You were a baby player! Mad respect for that.
3. *grin* So you have to be under the influence to watch it, eh?

[identity profile] col-depp.livejournal.com 2007-09-25 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
1. Namaste
2. *grins shyly* Well thats my earliest memory. My mother suggest a little younger.
3. Um..you know Pink Floyds: The Wall? Julie Andrews spinning around on a hill seemed far more trippier.

[identity profile] shyboy86.livejournal.com 2007-09-25 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
3. All right, you just made soda come out my nose with that.

[identity profile] col-depp.livejournal.com 2007-09-25 02:15 am (UTC)(link)
*chuckles*

3. At least it wasn't orange juice. That shit stings, especially if its got pulp in it. Sorry, man.

[identity profile] shyboy86.livejournal.com 2007-09-25 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose I'll live!

[identity profile] r-vecchio.livejournal.com 2007-09-24 08:40 pm (UTC)(link)
01. Pleasure to meet you too.

02. Care to share?

03. I'll leave that up to you to decide. But I thank you for the invitation, I'll be sure to remember it if I'm ever...at a loose end.

04. For a few years? Solid?

05. ...

And uh, the "thing" for agricultural animals Konni mentioned? That's entirely misinterpreted, ahem. I don't have a thing for the animals, I have a thing for- ...I...give them to a friend of mine...who has a thing for them...

[identity profile] shyboy86.livejournal.com 2007-09-24 09:20 pm (UTC)(link)
2. Not really. Nothing personal.
3. What? Oh, no, I didn't mean I wanted it to be a come on. I don't think so, anyway...
4. Yeah. Started when I was 7.
5. You're not going to tell me?

Right, so you have a thing for the friend who has a thing for them?

[identity profile] r-vecchio.livejournal.com 2007-09-24 10:07 pm (UTC)(link)
02. Maybe after you've been down on one knee again.
03. Making you think, huh?
04. You didn't say a word between the ages of 7 and 9? What, did someone cut out your tongue and sew it back on the wrong way?
05. I'm damn shocked ANYONE has to ask what the difference is! I can't...I can't even dignify it with an answer. You've hurt me, Shy. I'm bruised.

No. He's not exactly a friend, so much as someone who gives me...cookies to stop talking. But yeah, he has a thing for hoofed animals. My hoofed animals, anyway. A Pony and a Zonkey to be specific. I hold visitation rights.

[identity profile] shyboy86.livejournal.com 2007-09-25 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
2. Sure, by that time I should be ready to tell you.
3. Could be.
4. It was more like between the ages of 7 and 12. I saw my father killed. I didn't want to talk after that.
5. Well, which one do you like better?

A Zonkey? Cookies to stop talking? Ray, you have an interesting life.

[identity profile] r-vecchio.livejournal.com 2007-09-25 10:20 pm (UTC)(link)
2. I'll look forward to it.
3. Heh.
4. Oh. Well, yeah, okay. Ahem. Uh...
5. Armani. Obviously.

Why, thank you. At this moment in time though, he's not being particularly forthcoming with the baked goods, so no more farm animals for him for a while.

[identity profile] shyboy86.livejournal.com 2007-09-26 08:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Why is Armani better than Gucci?

[identity profile] r-vecchio.livejournal.com 2007-09-26 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Because it's Armani. Top quality threads. Finest duds in all the world.

[identity profile] shyboy86.livejournal.com 2007-09-29 10:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Ohh... Well that clears it right up then. I wouldn't know anything about quality threads.

Tee shirts, board shorts, sneakers, flip flops. My wardrobe is furnished by Beach Bums R Us.

Last suit I had to wear was to my dad's funeral. Never needed one once I was grown.

You can interview me if you want.

[identity profile] shyboy86.livejournal.com 2007-09-25 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
I want.

1. What's your favourite movie?
2. White or dark chocolate?
3. When's the last time you laughed so hard you cried?
4. Do you like to cook?
5. Do you have any pets?

[identity profile] maddy-ecuyer.livejournal.com 2007-09-25 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
What better way to find out about someone, yeah? Interview me if you'd like.

[identity profile] shyboy86.livejournal.com 2007-09-26 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
I do like doing this!

1. What other country do you think you'd like to live in?
2. What's your favourite breakfast food?
3. What's the best vacation you ever took?
