The place I live now is nothing like the place I grew up. They're both islands but other than them both being pieces of land surrounded by water they're pretty different. Casco is a lot smaller than Grand Cayman. It's a lot cooler most of the time and in the winter it's bloody freezing! I can't go see my friends and I can't go swimming as easily as I did back home. There isn't a real beach with sand here. There are pretty interesting animals here though and it's been exciting to spot some whales and seals. I even saw some bald eagles. We get mice in the house sometimes and you'd think that with three cats they wouldn't be a problem but Will is the one who has to trap them and put them back outside. I'm glad he doesn't kill them. It's not their fault they find their way in. I have no idea how they would have gotten over here in the first place. Do mice swim?
